So Much To Say

I am SO sorry that I haven’t posted an update in, um….forever.

I have a good reason, though.

Since I have so many things to tell you about…I’ll try bullets.

– I think the last thing I posted was about being in the ER with a fever.  It happened 2 nights in a row but thankfully we got to go home each time and the blood cultures never grew anything.  Praise the Lord!

– Brock starts another round of steroids on Wednesday.  Praying that he has a (relatively) easy time with it this month.  {I almost wrote ‘we start steroids on Wednesday’ because that’s how it feels – it just affects the entire family so much.}

– I also left you hanging on the giveaway thing.  We used an online random number generator to choose the winner and it was “The Senn Family (Darrell, Grace, Amanda, and Ethan)”  Congrats!  We’ll mail you the Amazon Gift Card.

– The fundraiser for Brock on GiveForward is only open until the end of this month.  If there’s anyone else you wanted to pass the info to, do it now!  THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED!  Every single dollar helps and I can’t tell you how much we appreciate you all giving so generously.  God has used you to bless us many times over.

– Some friends from the church we attending right before Brock was diagnosed have been working for over a year planning a concert and silent auction to raise money for Brock’s medical expenses.  The concert and silent auction will be Saturday, April 16 from 3-5pm at Putnam City Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. You can get more info about it from their facebook page here.  Admission is free and we’d love for you to come just so we can see you in person and tell you thank you for all you’ve done for using during the last year and a half!

– Brock started gymnastics!!  We’re praying it helps him to catch up on his gross motor delays.  He was hesitant at first but ended up having a lot of fun.

– Our friend Jill from 11:Eleven Images took some pictures for us last weekend.  This one was the sneak peek and I can’t wait to see the rest.

– Our friend Jess from Mollipop Photography is another extremely talented photographer and she’ll be doing Easter mini-sessions this Saturday and Sunday and 50% of the proceeds will go to Brock.

– This is turning into the longest post ever and I feel like I’m not even done catching up.  But this momma’s tired so I’m gonna wrap it up and try to post again this week.

– Oh, and one more thing….

BROCK’S GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!
