Disney Pictures!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Vanessa @ 4:27 pm

We’re home from Disney World!!

Please forgive me for not telling you before we left.  I’m kind of nutso paranoid about strangers on the intrawebs knowing when we’re out of town.

The trip was, in a word, perfect. Really. Thank you for praying for us! The kids stayed healthy. They had a fantastic time. Traveling with three littles was not nearly as daunting as I thought it would be.

I could go on and on with details but for now I’ll just leave you with some pictures. Because, really, that’s more fun anyway.

There’s LOTS more but my computer kind of freaked out so I’ll go ahead and post these before I lose them….

  1. Looks like you all had a great time! Did you all stay at Give Kids the World? My daughter will probably get in touch with Make a Wish this year to plan Ashers trip. So happy that you all enjoyed it, the smiles say it all : )

      • Excellent, thanks so much! We continue to pray for you all and for Brock’s healing. Reesie little cousin is back in the hospital. He was diagnosed at 8 years and went into remission about the time Brock was diagnosed. His name is Chason Andrew, his mom and dad are Kristi and Jason. Jason is GM at Home Depot on NW Expwy.

        We love you guys!

      • Just returned from Disney last night. Had an awesome time but 4 days doesn’t do justice to all there is to see. We are so glad Brock is able to be home. He is such a sweet, precious, handsome little guy.

      • Hi Vanessa,
Yes we had an incredible time and Reesie loved it. She is such a shop-a-sarus, she was disappointed we didn’t live in the souvenir shops and haul home a suitcase load of stuff toys. I ordered a Disney vacation dvd that touched on the highlights of each park; it was very helpful. Plus a friend suggested we purchase the Unofficial Guide/Walt Disney World w/Kids 2012. The guide had every ounce of info you could possibly need. Reese, Sr. was in meetings most of the time so I loaded Reesie in the stroller (a lifesaver) and we flew from ride to ride, show to show, hitting a different park each day. God gave me supernatural strength and Easy Spirit shoes to keep my 57 year old body going. Reese would meet us late afternoons or evenings. He told me I was going to have to slow down, he couldn’t keep up. LOL! By day 4(Epcot) I was starting to drag a bit. We rode Soarin 3 times. Loved it!

How sad to hear about your friend loosing her little boy and all the your friends who have lost children. May God bless them all with faith, hope and strength to get through. We admire you and Jay for the incredible strength and faith you have through all of this. Little Brock is such a precious brave little guy to endure all the procedures and complications. God bless you all.

Reese and I know what God can do in the midst of life’s incredible storms. God put all the right people in all the right places in our case these past two years. We’ve had the best of the best in every area, doing all the right things at the right times. God has been visibly at work every moment. We praise Him for his goodness!

Reese’s litte cousin Chason Andrew is out of remission and back in the hospital. He was diagnosed at age 8, went into remission about the time Brock was diagnosed. He seems to be holding his own so far.

We love you all and continue to lift you up to Jesus as he can do all things!
