Chemo stinks

Filed under: Uncategorized — Vanessa @ 10:31 pm

It’s been a long time since Jay and I have seen Brock not feel well because of chemo.  (At least we hope it’s from the chemo and not because he’s getting sick)

He just hasn’t been himself this past week.  He’s whiny and clingy and doesn’t want to do anything besides sit in our laps.  If I had a dollar for every time I heard “momma hold” this week…well, I’d be able to put a significant dent in our medical bills.

He got his last dose of steroids this morning.  Hoping he’s back to his normal, happy self this week!

Hope you all are well.

  2. I hate that the little Brockstar isn’t feeling well, but it melts my heart to know he’s asking you to hold him. It feels like it was just yesterday I was fearful of each update. Now look how far he has come. God is amazing, and Brock will forever be a testament to that. You are such an amazing mommy. I hope he starts feeling chipper soon!!

  3. He was so precious this morning in Sunday School. He did only want to sit in my lap, but I sure didn’t mind that! When I would have to get up to tend to another child, he would stand by the rocking chair and pat the seat. I love that boy!

  5. Dearest sweet precious little buddy, so very sorry for the rough time you are going through right now. It must be so difficult for you and your family. Asking the Lord to continue to keep you in His awesome loving healing hands.

Sending much love, hugs, prayers and best wishes for a blessed Happy Valentine’s Day!
