Look what just came in the mail…

(Do you like the needle that snuck into the edge of that last picture ?  Just a peek at what our lives are like.)

Also, I think it’s rather fitting that we received this on October 5…exactly one year from the day we knew that something was really, horribly wrong with Brock.

  1. Wow!! I think it is in no way a coincidence that this day is significant for your sweet boy and today you received his Children’s Miracle Network calendar. I find it so hard, sometimes, to believe that God still speaks. That’s my ignorance, though, and my crazy, chaotic life creating too much noise to hear him. Thank you for letting me hear his voice today!!

He’s so in love with your baby boy, and so are the rest of us. Here’s to another amazing year, with fervent prayers that the downhills will be many and the uphills will be few.

  2. Oh how cute! He is so precious!

Wow it has been a year already. Not one day hasn’t gone by since then that Brock or the rest of you have not been in my mind. The road is long, but you don’t have to travel it alone.

  8. Oh, how very beautiful!!! What a boy!! Your family deserves this honor, this tribute to this awesome little boy. Many others will be touched through the calendar itself and also through the money raised. I will be buying several–even though I choke up to look at these precious children, knowing what they’ve been through and many still have so much more before them. God bless you again and again.

  9. Today is Ashers 1 yr anniversary of his diagnosis. Was Brock diagnosed today too?? Wow just makes me wonder how many times we saw each other in the hall ways.

    • He was diagnosed on the 6th. And I’m sure you didn’t see us – we were in the stem cell transplant unit & never came out of the room! 🙂

      • Asher was in the stem cell transplant unit, they moved him there a week or so after his surgery, but if you never came out that would explain it : ) I will have to find that calendar, he’s the cutest!
