Brock Rocks

Brock’s chest xray from this morning looked about the same as yesterday. Thankfully, not worse, but of course we want to see it improving.

He still acts like he feels fine. He had another fever last night, though. And I’m sure they won’t let us go home until he’s been fever free for at least 24 hours…maybe more.

Prayer Requests:
– that he would be fever/infection free
– that the pneumothorax would resolve on its own
– that the picc line would stay in and keep working until we can put in another port
– that the fundoplication/g-tube surgery on the 17th would work

Praises:
– the pneumo didn’t get worse and he didn’t need a chest tube
– he’s started signing and saying ‘go.’ his first real word, probably. we hear it about a million times a day b/c he wants to leave the room and have us push him around the halls.

  1. Everytime I read your post I’m just overwhelmed how much you guys have gone through and how GOD continues to bless your family. To some the small gains that are made on a daily basis may seem very small but I know that GOD must have big plans for Mr. Brock becuase he seems to have touched some many lives during his young life. We are praying that GOD answers your request and that thing will be better tomorrow.
