Brock Rocks

The surgeons decided not to come back to see him again today.  They want to leave him on the non rebreather overnight and then repeat the chest xray in the morning and go from there.  Sometimes being on high flow oxygen can help a pneumothorax correct itself and we’re praying that’s what happens because no one really wants Brock to have a 5th chest tube in less than 10 months.

Prayer Requests:
– that Brock will be calm and leave the NRB in place.  He HATES having it on.  He’ll forget about it for a little bit but when it gets in his way he gets mad about it all over again.
– that B and Jay will be able to get some sleep tonight.
– that the NRB will help correct the pneumo so that he won’t need a chest tube.
– that the chest xray tomorrow morning looks better than the one from today.

  2. Well, this is a bit of an unexpected set back, but Brock is a fighter. Praying for all the requests, especially the one about your rest, renewed strength and unrelentless faith in our gracious God.
    Love,
    Vicky and Sam

  4. So sorry about this setback. Am in agreement with your prayer requests. You guys are in my prayers every time God puts you upon my heart, which is quite often. Am also praying you will find our Heavenly Father’s presence with you at all times.
