More Busy Days

Filed under: Uncategorized — Vanessa @ 3:24 pm

We’re still at home and doing good, just busy.  The glorious, wonderful, normal kind of busy (niece’s soccer games, Jaycie’s ‘olympics’ at gymnastics, eating dinner out) and also the ‘new normal’ kind of busy (clinic every day this week, getting back in the routine of giving iv meds at home).

Brock’s clinic appointments have been good this week.  His AGC is still above 1,000 so that’s great.  His hemaglobin was a little low today so we’ll go back tomorrow (5 for 5 this week!) for blood.

He’s still having fevers.  We’re still praying they stop.

He’s also started having nose bleeds again.  Remember that his happened a few months ago because he’s got a rather large hole in his septum.  He had to have surgery to have some places cauterized.  If I weren’t so busy! (house to clean) then I’d link back to that post.  Anyway, hopefully they’ll stop.  If not, I need to call the ENT back and see if he thinks he needs to cauterize again.

That’s it, folks!  Will post pictures soon.  Thank you for continuing to pray with us!

  1. GOD never asks us, he just equips us and I believe this with my entire being. I have FAITH that whatever lies ahead for your family HE will see you through, continue to stay strong and keep the FAITH…

  4. Am SO rejoicing with you that everything is going so well, don’t like some of those things that were happening a bit back. Hug and kiss those beautiful babies for me. (Yes, tell Jaycie she’ll just have to let folks call her a baby occasionally even as big as she is–that’s how Mommas are about their babies. Bet she’ll understand–bet BrockStar will always be her baby even when he’s 6’2″ ’cause sometimes sisters are that way about their little brothers too!)

  5. That is AMAZING NEWS!!! I’m so happy you get to spend some ‘normal’ family time together! God’s love is so miraculous. I am in awe of how much Brock has progressed. I know you still have a long road. I will continue to pray for your sweet family!

  6. Having a blessed normal (for the Hart’s anyway) weekend. You all remain in my daily prayers. Gotta agree with the other Linda – He is equipping us even if the reason is beyond our understanding and our patience. Keep the faith.
