Keep Praying

Keep praying!

– His AGC went down to 420 today so he’s at a high risk of getting an infection (or the fungal infection getting worse).  He also continues to have fevers so they’re starting him on i.v. antibiotics.  Low AGC + fevers = bad combination.

– His hemaglobin went down a little again too, so he’ll have another blood transfusion today.

– We’ll decrease his methadone today and hope that he tolerates it well.

  1. Prayers are lifted up for all of you, but especially Brock, as I keep you ever in my thoughts during these tough times. I pray for God to hold you in the palm of his hand and give you strength.

  5. In Sunday School this last week we discussed how God does not have a scarcity mentality-that He does not “run out of” or “use up” good things for us, help, blessings, etc. I am thankful for this! I remember thinking this morning as I was praying for Brock that God has poured out blessings and miracles upon your family and Brock. I was thanking Him that I/we can continue to ask Him for his help, because He doesn’t run out of it even though He’s already given so much. Continuing to ask for His intervention in Brock’s life, that the enemy has no hold in the situation, and that God would be given the glory. Thank you for including specifics so we can pray! love you!

  6. Dearest sweet Brock, asking the Lord to put a hedge of protection around you completely.

  11. Alright. I feel like we’re all hunkering and battening down the hatches to get Brock through another squall line…but let’s do this! Let’s go, Brock! If anyone can do it, he can!

As always, we’ll be thinking about him and pulling for him to get through this again. And this may be wildly inappropriate given the other very prayerful posts, but I can imagine this real bad-ass soundtrack playing behind the next few weeks pumping you all up as you all go through what I’m sure will be emotionally tumultuous times 🙂
