Prayer Requests

Filed under: Uncategorized — Vanessa @ 10:38 am

Brock’s developed a cough and congestion and he still has diarrhea so the clinic wants to see him this afternoon.  Please pray that his AGC (the measure of his immune system) is higher than it was last week and that these new developments are nothing that will keep him in the hospital.  My mother unexpectedly passed away last week and her funeral will be tomorrow.  Obviously having Brock back in the hospital would be added stress to an already difficult time.

  1. Vanessa, I am praying for all of you. I am so saddened to hear about your mother too. God is working in your life for a very special purpose and I know that He will see you and your family through all these difficulties, but it does not mean we suffer less – just that God is with you at every step.
I have been following your website for long enough now that I feel you are all a part of my family. My heart breaks everytime you go through another stumbling block but I celebrate with each good thing that happens to your family as well.
Today Brock is home and he has some wonderful doctors. He has a wonderful family and a wonderful church family. And God knows him intimately. God also knows you and your heart but He is probably rejoicing because He has brought home a wonderful Mom.

    Love you, Linda

  3. So sorry to hear about your mother passing away. It seems like when it rains it pours.God says he won’t give us more than we handle, but sometimes we want to hold our hands up to God & say, “I think I’m at my limit”! It is amazing though how you feel the peace that passes all understanding, even in the worst of circumstances.
I am Gene Crabtree’s mother & we & our chuch have been praying for Brock & your family. I am so glad that he got to go home, but I know it is still rough. You all are a blessing you people all over the world, as to how God helps us through suffering. Christians aren’t exempt of suffering. Sometimes I think we suffer more. Blessings-Susan Crabtree

I prayed for you and your family immediately. Prayers for good feedback and results from Brock’s clinic visit today. Please, please let me know if there’s anything I can do to eliminate any stress – anything at all. Obviously, prayers continue. Love ya!

  14. I can hardly wrap my mind around what you all are having to go through. But I know that God is still on the throne. He still has you in the palm of His hand. He said that he will leave you in peace, not as the world gives, but the peace that passes your understanding. I pray that this peace will supernaturally guard your hearts and minds in this difficult time.

  21. Vanessa-
I just said a prayer for healing & good results with Brock, and most of all NO hospital stay. I also prayed for strength and peace for you and your family during this most stressful time. I know and you know your mom is with God, but that doesn’t make you miss her and mourn her any less.
May God give you comfort during this time. Love to you all,
